Manolo Blahnik’s Fall/Winter 2012 Shoes is all timeless chic and playfulness of spots, layering and decoration. The designer who will be honored an Outstanding Achievement Award at BFAs is known for his elegant shoes but there are some shapes and silhouettes in this collection that are both playful and interesting.
There is an extensive range of court shoes in various colors and finishes including the ones with a trendy metal toe. There are also flat shoes and boots in rich colors in patent and suede leather as well as heeled booties and kitten heels.
There are lots of heeled sandals with layered details and textures. Minimalist sandals with ankle straps come in silver, gold and classic black. There is a model that features three rows of straps with small buckles also available in flat version.
The spots take special place in the collection. There are dotted pumps with thick heels, pumps with cut out dots, and two-toned shoes with spot motifs in mint/black, red/black and cream/black.
